Messika & Kate Moss

The French jewellery designer Valerie Messika has always been a fan of Kate Moss, but only met her personally last year, when she was modelling for a Messika advertising campaign.

Messika started a revolution in Paris' classic fine jewellery scene. Diamonds with a wow factor, but relaxed enough to be worn every day - if you're Gigi Hadid and Beyoncé, that is. Both effortlessly chic, Moss and Messika hit it off right away, and so the decision to work together was an easy one.

“I love Valerie’s aesthetic, she most definitely designs with women in mind,” says Moss. “Her pieces are modern and young and always comfortable to wear, which is really important.”

The collection has been inspired by vintage pieces from Moss’ personal jewellery box that she took with her to their very first design meeting. All in all, there are 70 bohemian but timeless diamond pieces, think Art Deco arm bracelets, tasseled and golden Sautoir necklaces, malachite hoop earrings, ear cuffs and rings.

Ice Cube by Marion Cotillard for Chopard

The Oscar-winning French actress has been wearing Chopard jewellery to the Red carpet as long as she can remember. Now it is her turn to make her own pieces. The collection features 7 piercing-free diamond ear cuffs (Marion doesn't have a single piercing), that you can attach with tiny clips. There's also an ice cube-inspired diamond ring with two bands of gold in a geometric design.

“Chopard has accompanied me since my debut as an actress. And because I share Caroline Scheufele’s, the Artistic Director and Co-President of Chopard's commitment to ethics, so this new collaboration is a great way to further strengthen the ties between us,” says Cotillard. And of course, the collection has been created with Fairtrade-certified gold and responsibly sourced diamonds.
