Wear one with pride this summer
Wearing a bikini shouldn't be a statement. In an ideal world devoid of beauty standards, all those who identify as women would be able to get their bits out with impunity - you know, like a man who thinks he's entitled to be topless anywhere from a community yoga class to a pub garden. It can be hard for women to wear bikinis without feeling like they're being ogled at and judged. Even before you reach that stage, the fear of being ogled at and judged may well stop you from wearing a bikini entirely. But life is far too short for that. If wearing a bikini leaves you potentially vulnerable to the male gaze, you best wear a spectacular one that makes a statement of defiance. Give them hell.
