Need an incentive to get back to the gym this month? Saint Laurent and boxing brand Everlast have joined forces to create a line of boxing accessories and apparel. Saint Laurent’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello has drawn inspiration from Michael Halsband’s iconic black and white photographs of Andy Warhol and Jean Michel Basquiat, to serve up some impressive headgear, hand wraps and gloves, as well as a boxing bag and shorts.

Established in 1910, Everlast has sponsored some of history’s biggest boxing champions, including Jack Dempsey and current lightweight competitor, Benson Henderson. Their pieces are made for optimal performance, so items such as the head guard are fit with cheek protectors and padded ear holes, which give maximum protection from direct impact (prepare for the worst and all that jazz). The trunks, with a classic boxing-short aesthetic, are made with pure satin and are made in the USA. The boxing bag and gloves are designed with high grade leather for maximum durability and extra comfort.


If you’re considering switching up your fitness regime this January, we can think of no better incentive.

The collaboration is with Saint Laurent Rive Droite, the maison’s cultural and creative lifestyle store on Paris’ Saint Honoré. The boutique is located in the building that was once home to Colette - the famous concept store that sadly closed its doors in 2017 after twenty years. It also stocks art and photography pieces, vintage and has its own library. For those that wish to go beyond the ring, Saint Laurent Rive Droite offers other sporting goods, from tennis equipment in partnership with Wilson to Zai skis and a range of dumbbells made with solid marble, brass and silver.
