The second your newsfeed is infiltrated with Christmas campaigns you know ‘tis really the season. The big fashion brands love to get in on all the joy, so it’s no surprise that come December, they pull out all the stops. We've rounded up the very best this year so if you weren't already in the Christmas spirit, you will be now.

1/6

Loewe

Directed By: Nina Gantz through Blinkink

Starring: An otter, birds in a grove, a model in a frog suit, a dodo and a host of half-human, half-fantasy creatures and it (of course) ends with an animal turning into a handbag. Very ‘loo-ay-vay’.

We Love: This surreal journey through an alternate world is shot within West London’s Leighton House which is a maximalists heaven, perfect to celebrate the launch of the William De Morgan capsule collection

2/6

Burberry

Directed By: Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott

Starring: Footballer Ruben Loftus-Cheek and former first lady of France Carla Bruni, it’s an eclectic mashup of personalities - much like your extended family Christmas dinner table.

We Love: Riccardo Tisci’s debut Christmas campaign and it screams Burberry, and the brand's new youthful mantra. Burberry stands for inclusion and everyone’s invited to this party.

Coach

Directed By: Bunny Kinney

Starring: Kate Moss, Spike and Tonya Lee, model and actress Cami Morrone, winner of Season 8 of Ru Paul’s Drag Race Bob the Drag Queen, and writer, actor and producer Ben Sinclair, as well as special appearances by the Shahidi family and the Newark Boys Choir.

We Love: Juergen Teller has added some serious kudos to this heritage brand and the welcoming vibe makes it feels like the kind of Christmas we all imagine ourselves having.

4/6

GUCCI

Directed By: Harmony Korine

Starring: A family of very very stylish cruise-goers.

We Love: More is always more which is particularly fitting at Christmas. By now we know Gucci will throw up something unexpected, and this is no exception as they've even made spending Christmas on a cruise ship appealing.

5/6

Chanel

Directed By: Jean-Paul Goude

Starring: Lily-Rose Depp

We Love: Parisian chic, we'd all love to look like Lily-Rose on Christmas morning. Meanwhile, we'll just dream of a white Christmas and a Chanel snow-globe.

6/6

IKEA

Directed By: Tom Kuntz

Starring: A modern family

We Love: This is 2019’s Christmas miracle. How can you not love kitsch ornaments coming to life with D Double E’s vocals spitting bars: your flat ‘ain’t blessed. it’s a mess’. The context and casting are so perfectly relevant, the perfect antidote to the usual Christmas direction.
