There’s something about Rosie. Well, if we’re being honest, there are lots of things about Rosie. Her full but chiseled face, her pillowy lips, and her honeyed, incandescent skin. Lottery-winning DNA aside, she’s the first to admit that the latter relies heavily on nurture and nourishment. Want the inside track? Of course you do. Below, Rosie’s shares her steadfast skincare rules.

"All good skin and make-up days start with a clean, fresh base, and come from having had enough rest. So simple, I know, but it’s such an important one. Get your zeds!"

"I’ve been juicing celery for past few months, along with the rest of LA apparently. Such is the demand that a single bunch comes in at $15 in my local grocery store (I nearly spat out my matcha tea… Another one of my liquid staples!). The science of celery? It’s 95% water, and has a high natural sodium content, which increases the acid in your stomach to boost gut health. Because your gut is inextricably linked to skin, a daily dose can help to brighten and clear."

"Know what works for you, whether it’s a cream, a gel or an oil. I personally don’t believe the hype when it comes to oils. They don’t sit right with my skin, but some of my girlfriends are avid fans. In the heat, I love lightweight, non-sticky gels."

"I rely on facials, but not when I’m simply having a bad skin day (yes, there are many! In those cases I grab a concealer and grin and bear it), but when I have long bouts of angry, irritated skin. Just one session with my go-to facialist Shani Darden in LA can set everything back on track."

"Clean products are hugely important to me, hence why I’ve put my face to bareMinerals. They’re the OG’s, and have been peddling the power of natural for 25 years, way before it was ever a trend. What’s more, the formulations work and the colours are beautiful. Skin wise at the moment, I’m loving the Glow Highlighter Drops. In the shade Joy, it works as an illuminating blush by imparting a sheer but prettifying pink sheen. Do I stick it to clean all the time in everything? No, I’m more 80/20. I make the best choices that I can in the moment, and I try to eat and use clean products at home. I’m traveling so much so I always try and follow by the rule of being as clean as I can when I’m at home. And then, when I’m out and about, or I’m at work or I’m traveling, it’s kind of whatever goes."

"I always take my makeup off, no matter what time of day it is. As soon as I get home from work or from a night out, before I go to bed. The ritual is ingrained - and rightly so!"

"You can’t overestimate the power of red lip. It’s without a doubt the most iconic and timeless make-up look. It makes me feel like a boss. Sexy, yes, but also sensual and feminine.

I was introduced to this particular one New York when I was shooting the campaign. I loved it so much, I nabbed the sample, and it’s been a staple in my make-up bag ever since. In terms of mileage, it does exactly what it says on the tin, meaning I can swipe in the morning and forget about it all day. When I’m struggling with what to wear, and invariably resort to black, this is rich and poppy enough to spice up my whole look."
