The fashionable heart of Milan city, has received its long awaited neighbour, in the form of the newly opened Mandarin Oriental Milan hotel, on via Andegari. Offering exemplary levels of luxury and comfort amongst its 73 rooms and 31 suites. The redeveloped 18th Century building stays true to its Italian heritage, with the added mix of touches of oriental excellence.

Italian food is one of the greatest pleasures Europe has to offer and under the guidance of executive chef Antonio Guida (formerly of the two Michelin starred restaurant Il Pellicano in Tuscany) the Mandarin Oriental is no exception. The hotel's fine dining restaurant – Seta – serves a carefully combined menu that includes French, Asian and Tuscan flavours.

There are plenty of opportunities to unwind at the oriental spa, which boast six treatment rooms, two couples suites and a dedicated Thai massage room. If you are heading out for an event, then the world-class hair salon by Massimo Serini, a manicure and pedicure studio and a beauty studio, are all onsite to help you get ready. There is even an indoor heated swimming pool and a state-of-the-art fitness centre, to help absolve the guilt from the Italian indulgences. We know where we will be checking-in next Milan Fashion Week...
