An exclusive party? On Abu Dhabi's luxurious Zaya Nurai Island? With a handful of A-list celebrities? Yes, please.
Movie stars Orlando Bloom and Margot Robbie jetted into Abu Dhabi this weekend for the launch of the new British Airways Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which was en route on its daily service from London to Abu Dhabi-Muscat. To celebrate the new route, British Airways hosted a star-studded party with over 200 guests that were treated to a live acoustic performance from one of Britain's best known singers, Jessie J.
The VIP party was held at the new luxury getaway, Nurai Island just off the coast of Abu Dhabi, where Lord of the Rings star Bloom also took to the stage to speak of his love for the capital and flying: "Ever since I was a kid, I've loved to travel. There’s nothing quite like the luxury of the new first cabin on British Airways."
Then The Wolf of Wall Street star Robbie who stars as Harley Quinn in the newly anticipated cinematic adaptation of cult graphic novel, Suicide Squad spoke of the city saying, "I've only been in Abu Dhabi for a day or so but it is a place of beautiful contrasts. I visited the desert yesterday and the vast tranquillity of that landscape is the opposite of the cosmopolitan modernity of the city – it is a beautiful place."
Bloom also took a moment to pose for pictures with British Airways cabin crew...
