After weeks of anticipation and a myriad of image leaks, Microsoft has launched two new flagship Lumia phones: the 950 and 950XL. Both are exactly the same phones with two differences: size and processor. The Lumia 950 has a 5.2-inch screen while its big brother has a 5.7-inch screen. The processor is also a bit different but it shouldn't make that much of a difference to the typical phone user.

Apart from the usual software, Windows of course has the Glance Screen tech that displays important information even when the screen is off. Their new party trick however is the 'Hello' technology which scans your face to unlock the phone. Similar to the fingerprint technology on other phones but way more Mission Impossible-esque.

In terms of personalisation, well, you can remove the back panel and replace it with whichever colour or material you want. Amaze!

As always with new launches, it will take some time before it hits the mass market here but in the US, the 950 and 950XL are sold for $US549 and $US649 respectively.
