Apple has sent out the invites for its next tech showcase, revealing that September 9 is the date it will present its highly-anticipated iPhone 6 upgrades. Set to be held at San Francisco's Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, around 7,000 people will watch as the tech giant unveils its iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.

At present very little is known about the new iPhones, although it is rumoured that they will be fitted with Apple's high-tech Force Touch capabilities and there will be a significant camera upgrade for both.
