Getting back to nature has become more accessible thanks to camping's answer to Airbnb –Hipcamp. The California based start-up aims to connect intrepid outdoor lovers to previously inaccessible private farms, conservation parks, and grounds.

It's a two-way bargain, as new plots open up across the USA – an estimated 60% of thr country, covering 36 states and 1,700 parks – welcoming campers, who in exchange pay a small fee for the privilege, which landowners can plough back into conservation efforts. It's win-win.

Take a look at the cool introductory video above. That's enough to make anyone want to sling their sleeping bag in the back of the car and head into the wilderness.
