After years of saying that it wouldn't introduce the highly requested 'dislike' button, Facebook has had a change of heart and revealed that the 'dislike' button is coming very soon...

"I think people have asked about the dislike button for many years. Today is a special day because today is the day I can say we’re working on it and shipping it," – Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg revealed in a Q&A session.

Facebook had previously said that it wouldn't introduce a 'dislike' option because it didn't want to become a platform for negativity. Now they view the 'dislike' button as more than negative:

"What they really want is the ability to express empathy. Not every moment is a good moment," said Zuckerberg.
