It has been announced that the successful BBC Good Food Show is heading to Dubai this year for the first time in its 25 year history. Marking the events first international outing, the show will follow the same format it does in the UK, with offerings from the very best seasonal and regional producers, a chance to meet and have discussions with celebrity chefs and will include the crowd favourite – The Supertheatre, where renowned chefs cook their favourite dishes in front of a live audience.

Culinary icons such as Andy Bates, James Martin, Paul Hollywood and Dubai based celebrity chef Silvena Rowe owner of Omnia Gourmet, are all confirmed to be making an appearance.

"Dubai is a hub of great and diverse cuisine with varied food lovers from all nationalities, so this is a perfect opportunity for food brands to showcase their products and expertise." The statement released yesterday revealed.

"As the first International Edition of the BBC Good Food Show, the Dubai event will have an International flavour as well as a Winter theme. We are delighted to be bringing the tried and tested successful formula of the BBC Good Food Shows to Dubai for the first time." Said Laura Biggs, managing director of BBC Good Food Shows.

The event will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center, December 19–19 2015
