Italian graphic designer, Andrea Salamino, celebrates the work of the iconic Dutch painter, Piet Mondrian, with a Mondrian-inspired blocked grid design across a Pepsi can. The creation emulates the geometric style, that was pioneered by Mondrian, who is credited with being at the start of the Neoplasticism art movement.
Salamino's tagline, 'The World Is Not Just Red' is part of a larger excerpt calling art fans to resist monotony. Will the design ever make it into Pepsi production? That remains to be seen, but we can admire this pop-art can of pop for what it is until then.
