Celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of founder Adolph Lange, Saxon luxury watchmaker A. Lange & Söhne is presenting its 1815 Tourbillon Handwerkskunst, the first watch from the brand that features two of its unique patents: a stop-seconds device and the ZERO-RESET mechanism.

Handwerkskunst, the German word for artisanship, is an attribute of distinction that A. Lange & Söhne has been using since 2011 to identify certain special limited edition watches that meet specific high standards of quality and craftsmanhip.

The A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Tourbillon Handwerkskunst: Epitomising artisanship

What sets this commemorative watch apart from the model presented in 2014 is the dial and here, it is made of black-rhodiumed pink gold and decorated with elegant tremblage engraving. Certain stages in the development process of this watch require one of the most elaborate and time-consuming finissage techniques. This special-edition model, limited to only 30 pieces, is available in a pink-gold case with a diameter of 39.5mm.

The 1815 Tourbillon Handwerkskunst is available at the A. Lange & Söhne boutique in The Dubai Mall and price will be upon request.
