Syrian-born Couturist, Rami Al Ali returned for his ninth show at Paris Fashion Week this season, where he revealed his Spring/Summer '16 Couture collection. Hosted at the beautiful, Le Meurice Salon, Pompadour Hotel the reveal was a stunning intimate presentation-style show.

This season, Al Ali takes his inspiration from Islamic art and architecture, in particular the iconic Moorish artistry, where he digs deep into how history and unique craftsmanship can create a fresh take on couture. Femininity and elegance is always key for a Rami Al Ali collection and this Spring/Summer '16 saw exaggerated volumes and delicately embellished brocade fabrics that were magnified on the royal blue, coral and taupe colour palette of gowns.
