Buro 24/7 Middle East can reveal that the senior vice president of global communications at Donna Karan International (DKI), Aliza Licht, will leave her role at the American fashion house this autumn.

Famed for being the woman behind the iconic ''DKNYPRGirl' social media handle, Licht will exit DKNY to focus on her recent book Leave Your Mark and other personal projects.

"Since the launch and success of my book, 'Leave Your Mark,' I have been traveling the world meeting with the community that has gathered through social media," said Licht. "Their overwhelming response has encouraged me to pursue new opportunities in media."

"It has been an extraordinary 17 years for me at DKI. I am extremely grateful for their support, and I am excited about the future," said Licht. Her replacement is yet to be revealed.

With the departure of Licht, the @DKNYPRGirl handle will be no more, and will be absorbed to @DKNY.

It's all change for the American fashion house – recently its founder, Donna Karan stepped down as chief designer of DKI (read her emotional departure letter here) and it employed the duo behind Public School, Chow and Maxwell Osborne, as co-designers for DKNY.
