This July 30 will see jockeys competing at the annual Magnolia Cup Ladies' Race at Qatar Goodwood Festival, Sussex, wearing bespoke designs from the likes of  Vivienne Westwood, Roksanda, Liberty, Bella Freud and Charlotte Stockdale.

The race will see amateur jockeys such as; Shadi Halliwell, head of marketing at Harvey Nichols; TalkTalk chief executive officer Dido Harding, and the milliner Emily Baxendale, raise money for charity. Baxendale has created a Goodwood collection of hats to mark the summer event.

This year is Qatar's first as the headline sponsor, and the first order of business was to double the prize money to £4.5 million. Since the charity race started in 2011, some £1 million has been raised, benefitting charities including Great Ormond Street Hospital, Winston's Wish, The Haven Breast Cancer Support, Spinal Research and Best Beginnings.
