It was on Victoria Beckham's most recent trip to Marrakech for husband David's birthday that the designer found the inspiration for her Spring/Summer 16 collection for her Victoria Victoria Beckham diffusion line. "The collection really reflects the colour, the tiles, the energy of Marrakech - and I really wanted it to be fun. And I really want to reach out to as many women as I can with this collection," Beckham said during a walk-through.

Inspired by the city's legendary gardens, the result was a collection that was brimming in a sun-soaked palette. Key colours included bougainvillea pink, saffron and tangerine that mixed well with the easy denim separates.

Prints appeared suggestive of Moroccan tiles in bright florals, abstract patterns and in the form of a chicken and ladybug - both seen throughout the collection were obvious inhabitants of the gardens that catapulted the spring collection to fruition.

The collection felt relaxed in rather loose and voluminous silhouettes standing out as a nod to the brand's modern tone and playful spirit. Matching tops and trousers looked especially fresh in stark white. One look in particular stood out in tangerine, with a boxy top worn with flared trousers. Dresses came in the form of trapeze, A-line and stretchy knitted versions. Discover the collection in full via our gallery below...
