British designer Stella McCartney and Kering, the French luxury goods holding company have joined creative forces to help raise awareness of violence against women. Aptly titled the White Ribbon campaign, Stella has deigned 125,000 limited-edition white ribbon brooches that will be available for purchase when the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women starts on November 25.

"Statistics show that one in three women around the world are beaten or abused in their lifetime, this is a horrific fact that has inspired me to bring attention to the awareness campaign to stop violence against women," said Stella. "I cannot stress enough how important it is that people are aware of the facts and support women to find the courage to break the silence," continued the designer.

The brooches will be distributed across 41 countires, and you can also make a pledge on the official White Ribbon Campaign site. Simultaneously you can support the cause with the hashtag #BeHerVoice.
