Brought back to life in 2013, historic couture house Schiaparelli has finally confirmed its plans to enter the realm of ready-to-wear...

According to WWD, Schiaparelli plans to unveil its debut 'prêt-à-couture' collection for the Spring/Summer 16 season during the upcoming Paris Fashion Week at the end of the month. The Schiaparelli showcase will take place over four days of presentations, kickstarting September 30.

Design director Bertrand Guyon (pictured above) first made his Schiaparelli debut for Autumn/Winter 15 Haute Couture and is set to present a "small collection" according to reports. However this is not ready-to-wear as we know it, the pieces will be limited edition and will only be available to purchase at the Schiaparelli headquarters at 21 Place Vendôme.
