It certainly isn't the first time an artist has filed a lawsuit against a fashion designer, and we are confident that it won't be the last – but are there any truths in the accusations? Street artist Rime claims that Moschino and its creative director Jeremy Scott have ripped off one of his artworks and his signature.

The artist who was born Joseph Tierney, has filed a 20-page lawsuit against Moschino and Scott and submitted it to the U.S. District Court in the Central District of California. According to reports, the lawsuit includes colourful images of Scott and Katy Perry at the 2015 Met Gala (pictured above) wearing outfits that were said to be inspired by Rime's artworks.

Moschino are yet to respond. Stay tuned for more news on this story as it unfolds...
