Raf Simons has brought the runway to the streets of Paris in a new video series on Instagram. Showcasing his recent Fall/Winter '16 men's collection, Simons extends his 'Nightmares and Dreams' show into social media videos, which run between 10-30 seconds, are shot in both colour and monochrome, day and night, and with the camera following the models through Parisian neighbourhoods .

While the black and white short films focus on more uptown fashion, both in terms of apparel and location, the coloured films are shot in areas that show the other side of Paris, where surroundings are clearly aged and graffiti often rules. In doing so, Simons expertly highlights the intentional juxtaposition in his own line, with torn jumpers, patched-up sweaters and oversized tops.
