Inspired by their recent trip to Greece, Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos gave their Spring/Summer 16 collection a cool cotton overhaul with smocking and lace. Ahead of their London Fashion Week presentation, de Vos said "Smocking has a magical effect on fabric, and we loved placing it all over the body."

Placing it all over the body was precisely what the designers did, cinching waists, adding texture and volume to sleeves and shoulder straps. Complimenting the body hugging style, smocked dresses and cropped tops featured feminine ruffles, which upped the flirty factor of the garments.

Adding detail to their looks, Pilotto and de Vos finished off tops and skirts with little drawstrings on striped cotton and bits of fluttery lace on pencil skirts. They didn't stop there either, skirt pockets were decorated in geometric patterns, whilst a hybrid of cardigan jackets were adorned with what looked like broken pieces of shell, adding another element from their Grecian holiday.
