Louis Vuitton has celebrated the opening of its second new 'museum' in less than a year, dubbed 'La Galerie.' Unlike the modern Frank Gehry-designed Foundation Louis Vuitton in Paris, this historic Louis Vuitton grounds in the northern suburb of Asnières-sur-Seine, has a more intimate and homely feel. Not least because it is situated on the grounds of the former family home and the workshops where the luxury brand still produces its most exclusive made-to-order items.

Consciously and intentionally called a gallery rather than a museum, this new space certainly has its share of historical links, but it also has an optimistic duty to continue to look to the future.

Louis Vuitton invited an intimate guest list to visit the new exhibition space, flying out visitors including the face of the brand Michelle Williams, journalist Derek Blasberg, actress Camille Seydoux, Justin O'Shea, Caroline Issa, and many others. An evening of celebration took place to officially launch the opening of 'La Galerie.' Step inside the celebrations via our gallery below...
