Lisa Perry presented her Spring/Summer 16 ready-to-wear collection at her SoHo boutique, with the prime focus being on prime colours. The designer found her inspirational starting point through the installation artist Robert Irwin, specifically his show entitled – Who's afraid of Red, Yellow & Blue?

Perry answers a resounding "we're not" to that question, with this brightly coloured lineup of mod-esque style mini dresses, with some midi and maxi lengths thrown in. Stripes of varying sequences lead the print stakes with a stand out print of lines and circles that is reminiscent of the work of Piet Mondrian.

Particular attention to details is applied to this collection which sees careful contrast stitching elevate the silhouettes. And Perry also had some fun with her set design, deconstructing bright red Ikea tables and hanging them on the wall, as if they were modern art.
