Kevin Systrom continues to build upon his love affair with the fashion industry, announcing a new style round up for the social media giant he founded, as Instagram unveil a new special feature for Fashion Week...

Marking the first time that Instagram will provide a space for users to see daily updated, curated content from a specific event, the photo sharing platform will launch a section called 'The Best of Fashion Week Updated Daily By @Instagram' on Friday.

Users will be able to tap on the top part of Instagram's 'Explore' tab, and view the most creative and interesting content being posted with the #NYFW hashtag for New York Fashion Week. The content will not be selected on likes, followers or celebrity, but rather be hand-selected based on unique and creative content themes.

WWD reports that "According to Instagram, during fashion month in February and March in 2015, the service counted more than 140 million likes and comments on fashion-week related photos, and 25 million people engaged with fashion week-related content. But, sorry London, Paris, Milan — the new feature is only open to the U.S. for now. For a first look, Instagram will be launching a collection of up-and-coming fashion accounts on Wednesday and Thursday, but the new fashion week collection will begin on Friday."
