Milan Fashion Week may have only just begun, but so has its highlight – Alessandro Michele's new collection for Gucci Spring/Summer 16 (see it here). Starting the Italian proceedings with a bang, Michele opted to showcase his buzzy new wares in Milan's Scalo Farini, a former railway station – and the Gucci runway stretched along an old train platform.
Celebrities, models, buyers and VIPs perched on the jewel printed fabrics adorning the bamboo-backed chairs, resting their weary feet on the incredible carpet featuring pink serpents and flowers. Salma Hayek, Hamish Bowles, Anna Wintour, Dakota Johnson, Alexa Chung, Anna Dello Russo, Charlotte Casiraghi and of course, Gucci CEO Marco Bizzari, were all spotted front row.
