Fashion writer and social-scene fixture, Derek Blasberg, is moving on from Harper's Bazaar to become 'Man on the Street' for Vanity Fair, where he'll cover art, fashion, and society, in his unique style. 

Blasberg's social calendar has been packed with events to the hottest invites since 2004, when he graduated from NYU. Since then he has amassed a dizzying circle of friends and has become a veritable staple in the fashion industry. His impressive career credits to date include; editor at large at Style.com, a columnist for Interview, a contributor at Vogue, Elle, Women's Wear Daily, the New York Times and many more. As well as his most recent post as an editor at large at Harper's Bazaar, V magazine and VMAN. In his new role, Blasberg will write for print and online, and will contribute a regular 'It Girl/ It Boy' column as well as feature in his own video series for online. 

"Derek navigates the worlds of art, fashion, and society – whatever that is these days – better than anyone I know," said Vanity Fair editor, Graydon Carter, in a statement.
