Who better to host a dinner celebrating style than Oscar winner Cate Blanchett and Net-a-Porter’s Vice President of Global Buying, Sarah Rutson?! Hosted at one of Los Angeles' coolest hotspot's, The Chateau Marmont, the lavish soiree was the scene of a very stylish affair to celebrate Hollywood style and design talent within the city.
"People don't often associate L.A. with style and I think there’s really a lot of interesting designers who are not only emerging out of L.A." said Cate. "I think there's a really interesting, dark underbelly to L.A. It's a really creative place. It often gets demonised, so it's great that they're celebrating L.A.," she continued.
The night began with a beautiful cocktail hour and speech from Net-a-Porter's Sarah Rutson where 55 special guests including Rachel Zoe and Monique Lhuillier then sat down for an intimate dinner. Sarah Rutson explained: "We are about creating the future of fashion, and we have to acknowledge that the stylemakers now are the Hollywood stylists."
