London-based business publication, Business of Fashion, is adding a new section to its online platform – BoF Education – aimed at offering information on fashion learning. The section will include a Sunday Times style ranking of existing fashion learning institutes as well as offering online courses of its own, for free.

"We hope that BoF Education will aid prospective students in making informed choices about pursuing higher education in fashion; act as a tool for universities and colleges to improve their education offerings; and serve as a resource for the wider industry to engage in a discussion about the critical importance of fashion education," said BoF CEO Imran Amed.

With some hefty fashion teaching credentials of his own (teaching the only fashion course at the highly regarded Central St. Martin's art collage in London) Amed has structured three separate modules on the online platform: Fashion Business Basics, Fashion Marketing & Communications, Fashion History and Fashion Entrepreneurship. A great incentive to go back to school.
