Since the shock departure of Lanvin's Creative Director, Alber Elbaz last October, 2015, this season has seen first time Artistic Director of Lanvin Menswear, Lucas Ossendrijver step out alone for his first bow. The collection also marked Ossendrijver's tenth year anniversary at the leading luxury French fashion house.

When it came to the collection, Fall '16 saw a more natural and effortless aesthetic, which touched on rock 'n' roll inspirations. From open shirts, flowing hair and long-length overcoats, to loose yet tailored trousers there was an on-going trend, along with cross-body bags, T-shirts and shirt combo layering.
