During a recent Condé Nast meeting to discuss the future of Glamour magazine (which is upping its digital presence in big way) Anna Wintour recalled that Burberry's Christopher Bailey had once told her that he was inspired by a trip to Zara's HQ in Spain. Bailey told Wintour that the High-Street giant does not believe in meetings, and that it doesn't waste any time – and therefore is capable of turning out new collections at lightening speed.

According to WWD, Wintour is intrigued by Zara's speed and success and plans to visit its headquarters soon. This golden endorsement comes at a good time for Zara – as its parent company is revealed to be worth a whopping $100 billion, putting it ahead of Nike, H&M and more.
