Dior will sponsor the 2015 edition of the Guggenheim International Gala (GIG) – marking the third consecutive year that the iconic French fashion house has partnered with the one of the most prestigious cultural events on the New York City annual calendar.

The two-night celebration known as 'GIG' for short, supports the museum’s operations, including exhibitions, educational programs and the landmark building.

Set to take place on November 4 and 5 this year, the first night features a pre-party hosted by Dior and the Young Collectors Council, which will feature a performance by the super cool Grimes a.k.a. Claire Boucher (pictured above).

November 5 will see a benefit dinner to honour artists On Kawara (in memoriam) and Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian who have both featured in recent exhibits, plus Colombian artist Doris Salcedo, whose work is on view at the museum now until October 12.
