"Britain's most disappointing tourist attraction" will soon be putting smiles on some faces as Banksy reveals that his Dismaland creation is going to be used to shelter refugees in Calais.

The Bristol-based street artist will be dismantling his ambitious creation and shipping all of the various pieces to Calais to provide shelter for the estimated 5000 refugees stranded there.

"All the timber and fixtures from Dismaland are being sent to the Jungle refugee camp near Calais to build shelters," Banksy announced via the official Dismaland website. "No online tickets will be available."
