Top regional and international talent will be exhibited at Alserkal Avenue this November, in conjunction with Abu Dhabi Art Week, in celebration of the gallery's autumn expansion. Names both familiar and new will join the exhilarating lineup of contemporary artThe debut unveiling of the new galleries and their innaugural exhibitions will take place on November 16 – as part of Galleries Night. 

Look out for Leila Heller Gallery, Dubai, The Third Line, Jean-Paul Najar Foundation and Stephane Custot Gallery, Dubai's debuts on the avenue as they welcome art audiences for the first time at their covetable new gallery address. 

Abdelmonem Bin Eisa Alserkal, founder of Alserkal Avenue, said: "The launch of these respected international and regional galleries is affirmation of how far Alserkal Avenue has come as a community for the promotion of arts and culture. We have long worked with gallerists to conserve and build a legacy of arts and culture in the region, and we look forward to making a similar impact in the international context as well."

Custot Gallery

Custot Gallery Dubai will open with a 700 square-metre galery space, which will house their  prior to inaugural exhibition, East meets West. Stephane Custot's aim for the new gallery is to encorage a dialogue between modern masters and international contemporary artists from the east and west.

Jean-Paul Najar Foundation

The Jean-Paul Najar Foundation's opening show – Vision & Legacy – springs from the founder's longstanding friendships with artists, demonstrating the connection between the emerging talent and the gallery's desire to provide a platform. Individual masterpieces from 1970 to 1990, including letters and ephemera from several artists throughout the decades, will form key elements of the exhibition. 

Leila Heller Gallery

Leila Heller Gallery, Dubai, is set to showcase debut solo exhibitions by Ghada Amer –curated by Dr. Shiva Balaghi and will comprise embroidered paintings, metal sculpture, and her latest foray into ceramics. As well as Belgian artist Delvoye, who will exhibit new sculptures. 

The Third Line

Regional pioneer The Third Line, Dubai, will be marking its move to the Avenue with a solo show by Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian – Works on Paper – which compliments the artists' recent publication of the same title. The works on display are, as the title suggests, drawings on paper.
