They are our answer to One Direction and now The 5, made up of Said Karmouz and Mohamed Bouhezza from Algerian, Kazem Chamas from Lebanon, Ahmed Hassan from Egypt and Adil Echbiy from Morocco, have released their first music video, and it was filmed in Dubai.

The X-Factor Middle East finalists shot the video for their debut single El Donia Shabab, at a secret desert location somewhere near Bab Al Shams. Now the boys, who have signed with Sony Entertainment Middle East, are set to conquer the Arab world, something which has been hard to achieve by other singing competition participants. “In the Middle East, a lot of singers have been in all these programmes – The X Factor, The Voice, Star Academy, Arab Idol, Arabs Got Talent – and after they finish, no one knows them, they disappear," said Hassan.

With all of the appeal of a boy band coupled with singing ability, we doubt these boys are set to fade away.
