Taylor Swift debuted her new music video for "Out of the Woods" this New Year's Eve, during the countdown show ABC's Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2016.

The latest video is the sixth from her highly successful album 1989, which has already racked up seven Grammy nominations. Here, Swift is, as the title suggests, running out of the woods with a pack of wolves hot on her heels. Locations move from a deep forest to icy mountains to muddy pools.

Swift was also lauded by the director of the video Joseph Kahn, for braving through the elements in pursuit of her art. "Taylor was so dedicated to making this video," said Director Joseph Kahn, before continuing: "I was wrapped in snow gear. She was in a dress. She suffered for her art. Taylor chose to stay in the mud for hours to keep the shoot moving. No in and out. Just gangstered it."
