Kurt Cobain continues to make headlines long after his death, as it is revealed that a new album featuring solo music from the former Nirvana front man will be released in November this year.
The album will form the soundtrack for the DVD release of the Montage of Heck documentary about the rock legend's life. The doc's director, Brett Morgen discovered over 200 hours worth of recordings and 108 cassette tapes during his research for the Montage of Heck – including a "mind blowing" 12-minute long track of a Cobain falsetto.
"It feels like you're in Kurt's house, watching him create. You're eavesdropping on him... in the most positive sense of the word, with a great deal of sensitivity, too," Morgan told Billboard in an interview.
