In an epic stroke of success Tidal – the streaming music service – which is owned by rap mogul Jay Z, has just reached one million subscribers in just six months and to celebrate he's announced the ultimate concert. Headlining the Brooklyn, New York gig on October 20 will be Jay Z himself supported by Beyonce, Prince, Usher and Nicki Minaj, who are just some acts scheduled to perform.
Tidal subscribers have first picking of the tickets as of now before they go on sale to the public on October 2. For those who are unable to get tickets, fret not; the event will be streamed live on the website, for the enjoyment of both subcribers and non-subscribers alike.
All proceeds from the charity concert will be distributed between NGOs and other community organisations aimed at improving social conditions.
