The nominees for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards have been announced and it's true ya'll, Miley Cyrus is hosting the event. Making her first VMA appearance at the age of 15 back in 2008, Miley has had quite a history with the VMA's, having last year graciously offered over her speech time to her homeless date, Jesse Helt, to raise awareness for homeless youth in America, and who could forget the 2013 twerking performance with Robin Thicke?

This year's biggest stars in the running for a new 'Moon-Man' to place on their mantle include, Taylor Swift, who is up for a host of awards including 'Video of the Year' and 'Best Female Video' as well as her pal, Ed Sheeran who is also up for numerous chances. Maroon 5, Ellie Goulding and Hozier also feature on the list of hopefuls.

Tune into Buro 24/7 Middle East for news from the red carpet and winners after the event on August 30.
