Starring Dane DeHaan as James Dean and Robert Pattinson as Dennis Stock, a passionate photographer, the film Life follows the dramatic events of James Deans' rise to fame before his untimely death in 1955. Director Anton Corbijn explores the bond between the duo as Stock (Pattinson) captures hundreds of iconic images of the actor as part of his a profile for Life Magazine.

James Dean died in a car crash in September 1955, and starred in just three movies: East of Eden, Giant and Rebel Without a Cause for which he became better known, the Life Magazine photographs taken by Stock formed an imperative part of the star's legacy.
