Fans who can't get enough of Quentin Tarantino and his stylised films can now look forward to two different versions of the movie, The Hateful Eight. The roadshow version, which comes out on December 25 in the US, utilises the Ultravision 70mm photography which allows cinemagores to view the film in its entire wide glory. "[The longer cut] was awesome in the bigness of 70, but sitting on your couch, maybe it’s not so awesome. So I cut it up a little bit. It’s a little less precious about itself," said Tarantino.

The second mainstream version will be released a couple of weeks later and will be shorter. "The roadshow version has an overture and an intermission, and it will be three hours, two minutes. The multiplex version is about six minutes shorter, not counting the intermission time, which is about 12 minutes," explained the director.

You always know that if plays or movies get a break in between that it will rise up to a big climactic finale. So refill that popcorn and get ready for Tarantino to blow your minds once more.
