Many have crossed over from filming in front of the lends to moving behind the scenes, and now it's Jennifer Lawrence's turn, as she's set to direct her first movie. "I've signed on to direct something called Project Delirium — it's based on this article about mental warfare in the '60s, like an acid experiment gone terribly wrong," she said. Project Delirium is based on a 2012 New Yorker piece titled 'Operation Delirium' by Raffi Khatchadorian.
"It's funny, I've wanted to direct since I was 16 and always thought I should start making steps towards that," said Lawrence. "If I had tried to do it earlier, I wouldn't have been ready. Now I actually feel ready." This comes after she revealed that she's acting and co-writing a movie with Amy Schumer in which they will play sisters.
You can catch Jennifer Lawrence in cinemas now in the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, as well as Joy and X-Men: Apocalypse next year.
