Johnny Depp shows off his rugged handsome charm for Dior, starring in his first ever campaign for a luxury fashion house. Depp is the face of Sauvage – a new version of the classic Eau Sauvage scent, which is set to hit counters September 2.
The 52-year-old actor features in a set of new campaign images and a film lensed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino. The short film opens with Depp saying “I gotta get out of here. Which way? I don’t know,” "Dior." He adds. In the clip, Depp roars out of Los Angeles in a vintage Dodge Challenger to Joshua Tree, California. The clip will also be released on September 2 and will feature an original rock 'n' roll track by slide guitar specialist Ry Cooder.
Perfumer François Demachy revisited the original Eau Sauvage scent, which was first created in 1966, and transformed it to make it "more contemporary, strong and unmistakably masculine."
