For the first time ever, Hermès has opened a stand-alone perfume library – debuting a new beauty boutique on 225 Liberty Street at Brookfield Place, New York City.

“For me it’s quite an achievement. It’s funny, it’s difficult to be humble at a moment like this because seeing all these perfumes around me…. But, you know, it’s really about the products. They are the stars.” Jean Claude-Ellena, Hermès resident 'nose' since 2003, said.

The new perfume library was created in collaboration with RDAI and RF Studio architects and offers unique services such as the chance to customise a Hermessence in the leather casing of your choice and have it monogrammed.
