Fragrance Du Bois is hitting all the right notes! Not only is the French fragrance house celebrating its first year this month, it's also teamed up with Jordanian singer/songwriter Nadeem Nour on an oud-sustainably project.
Not many people know the origins of oud (FYI it's a resin that forms in the Aquilaria and Gyrinops trees) and it's often farmed illegally, which has often led to farmers becoming concerned about the scent's fate. Nour was aware of the stark reality and as a result it's led to the collaborattion with Fragrance Du Bois to tell oud's story.
On a happier note, the French perfume house has also launched 'London Oud' off the back of the project, which is created by fifth generation Master Perfumer, Francois Merle-Baudoin, to celebrate the French fragrance house's one year anniversary. Here spearmint, lemon and bergamot mix freely with lavender and jasmine to create a fresh scent.
London Oud is now available at Casal and Co. at The Address, The Dubai Mall. They come in 100ml for Dhs2900 and 50ml for Dhs1750. As well take a look at Nour's song Life's Treasure now...
