The original Chanel shade was called Vamp: a mix between the fiery passion of red and the deep simplicity of black. First seen as part of the Autumn/Winter ready-to-wear collection in 1994 it went into production a year later instantly becoming an immediate success sweeping Chanel into nail colour stardom. It's now been 20 years since the cult nail polish Rouge Noir was created.
To celebrate, the Chanel Makeup Creation Studio has given Rouge Noir it's very own Holiday 2015 makeup collection. The moody shade has been transformed into its own colour palatte for your eyes, lips and nails in soft pinks, saffron, gold and lamé tones.
The Chanel Rouge Noir collection is available from November 6, 2015.
