Londoners are cottoning on to the New York beauty ritual, where looking great on-the-go is part of life, not a rare luxury. Hungarian sisters Krisztina Van der Boom and Anita Puluczkai have swept in with the near perfect embodiment of the concept – Dryby. The central London blow dry and nail art bar, affords women a haven of homely comfort, in the middle of the city, where locks can be finished, and tips can be decorated and polished.

Keeping the process slick and simple, customers can select their hair look from a menu of five classic blow dry styles – The London, The New York, The Tokyo, The Rome and The Rio – all veritably covetable looks, from messy waves, polished locks to bouncing volume, there is something for all personalities. As well as any number of nail designs or simple one colour polish.

Beauty doesn't begin with the finished looks, not at all, the sisters have taken care to create an environment that is comforting, welcoming and serene. We love the unique anti-salon decor, our only fear is that with surroundings this pretty, the in-out 'Dryby' concept might find customers lingering to enjoy the haven. With the success of the London studio, further outposts might be on cards in the future. Watch this space...
