Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy was the fragrant setting for the announcement of the new Salvatore Ferragamo perfume, Signorina Misteriosa. A new fruity oriental fragrance, the notes include a bold blend of blackberry, neroli, orange blossom, tuberose, patchouli and black vanilla mousse.
As the newest addition to the Signorina family, which isn't launching until 2016, Sarah Rasheed for Buro 24/7 Middle East joined perfumers Sophie Labbé and Nicolas Beaulieu as they revealed Misteriosa to a few fragrant-forward faces.
Following on from the original romantic Signorina from 2011, its Eau de Toilette version from 2012 and the seductive Signorina Eleganza version from 2014, Signorina Misteriosa completes the collection with a different character that is more cheeky yet elegant, unpredictably mysterious, and ultimately becomes about 'life as a play'.
Fronting the fragrance is model Grace Hartzel, who Luciano Bertinelli, CEO of Ferragamo Parfums, says: "Perfectly embodies the new generation of young women, while expressing the values of the Ferragamo world. What is so striking is her expressiveness, versatility and ability to interpret different roles in a natural, elegant manner. This is an absolute innovation for the fragrance industry. Our goal is to address young and sophisticated women, in an ironic and contemporary way."
Salvatore Ferragamo's Signorina Misteriosa will be available in the Middle East from February 2016.
